i'm so behind....

on my blogging and trying to play catch up.  I've been wanting to post some pictures of our trip to Seaside and after having received several e-mails asking how my trip was I thought I should better get on that.  Seaside, Fl. was one of the most beautiful places that we have stayed.  The beach was amazing, the white sand and emerald colored water was breathtaking.  The town itself is so full of color, that everywhere I went I was so inspired.  Here are some of the shots that I took from around town and I will share more of the beach and the kiddos another day.  

One last post....

before we are on our way to the beaches of Sunny Florida for a week.  A LONG awaited and much needed family vacation.  I will have little to no internet access.  I will be checking e-mails when I can, but will be responding once I return home from our trip.  

But....until then, meet "S".  We had so much fun at his session.  I think mom was a little worried going into it that he wouldn't do so well, but I assured her not to worry and LOOK...he was GREAT!!  Enjoy your sneak peak!

Cuteness overload....

When little "L" arrived home today for his 7 month old photo session....I couldn't help but fall in love with those beautiful blue eyes and adorable little face.  Although I have to say that he didn't much care for one of my favorite hats, but we made due.  Mom and dad here's a little sneak peek for ya...enjoy!

Happy Birthday "B".......

I first met "B" a year ago and I can't believe how much he has grown up and how handsome he has gotten.  I just LOVE to watch my babies grow up....I can't believe that it has already been a year

A very special family.....

Anton and Christie only became parents just a few weeks ago....but you would have thought they were old pros.  It is so obvious the amount of love in this family and little "Q" is one lucky little boy to have these two as parents.  Anton and Christie...you guys have thanked me over and over for capturing these precious moments for you, but it is me that should be thanking you for EVERYTHING that you have done for my family.  You two have given so much of yourselves to others over the years and I can't think of two more deserving people to be able to become parents.  Congratulations you guys....you have a BEAUTIFUL little family.  So...here is a little sneak peek from your session.  Enjoy!!!!

Last chance.....

Well, "E" just celebrated her first birthday not too long ago, so it was time to meet again for a photo session.  I can't get over how much she has grown and LOVE her hair!!!!!

Updating my website...

so I thought I would share.  I don't typically shoot families, but it doesn't mean that I don't or won't.  I specialize in child/tween/senior photograpy, but I do realize that with kids come families and as families we want to document those memories together.  I receive e-mail after e-mail from people inquiring about "family photos".  Up until now I haven't had a gallery on my website with anything of siblings or families.  When I try to explain to prospective clients that I don't do the "posed" family photo and that I prefer the more interactive/candid family shots, I think people have a hard time visualizing what I am talking about.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE images that show emotion.  There's nothing like that stolen kiss from your baby or the shy stare of a toddler as she clings to mom's leg.  So.....I sat down this afternoon and went through some images of families/siblings and updated my website, {connection}.

Baby "A" take two....

sometimes that's what it takes in my business.  I first met baby "A" a few weeks ago right before she came ill with double ear infections and to top it off she broke out in this horrible rash.  I wanted to re-shoot her in hopes that we could get that one smile that mom so desperately wanted.  Not that I think a smile makes a "good" picture and a non-smiling one a "bad" picture...but we all want that image of our baby smiling with her first little teeth peeking out over the gums.  Well...we got it!
