I met "S" back in the Fall. She's a senior for the Dallas high school of the performing arts...Booker T. She is so very talented! it was so much fun shooting her because she has such great individual style and definitely isn't afraid to express it. Isn't she CUTE!
What a beautiful family inside and out. I have had the opportunity to shoot this family a couple of times now and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks so much Stephanie and Brent for making my job so easy....again!

I had the opportunity to go to Denver again this year for some Fall sessions....and we all know that Colorado has got some beautiful Fall colors! Well...Colorado is just beautiful no matter what time of year it is in my opinion. Anyway....these two are dolls! I just have to share.
As I sit here tonight....I'm thinking back on the year 2008. What a busy year!
In 2008 I....
1. had a daughter turn 15 and begin to drive (very scary!)
2. went through about 4 different hair colors until I found one I liked.
3. bought a new car.
4. got to travel to some VERY fun places...Cabo, Florida, California, Colorado, Utah, NM, Wisconsin, D.C., just to name a few.
5. turned 36! Yikes....on the downhill to 40.
6. lost 20 lbs.
7. started wearing reading glasses...must be the age.
8. lost my grandmother.
9. made lots of new friends and reconnected with some old.
10. finally started organizing my office...should make my life sooo much easier.
With all of that....I'm gladly welcoming the year 2009!

Sorry....that would be me for the past few weeks! I have so much to post and so many fun families and kiddos to share. I have been extremely busy and on top of it being one of the busiest times of the year for me...I have been dealing with some family things as well. SO, to not keep mom waiting any longer. I had so much fun with Miss "K" this morning. She is the queen of adorable outfits!! We met up for our little "urban" shoot in Grapevine this morning...and we could not have asked for better weather. It was in the 60's this morning and gorgeous......just the kind of weather we need for a pre-Fall urban shoot. Just as promised....here's a sneak peek for mom and grandma.
